A Stone Sheep Hunting Season to Remember
As we just wrapped up our second round of stone sheep hunting here in British Columbia, it has been a season to remember! Our four hunters have taken four outstanding stone sheep rams! This year’s rams we all mature, healthy sheep. The four rams we’ve taken this year range from 8 years old up to 14 years old. And they range in size from 36 inches to 39.5 inches. We knew from last year and going into the season that we had some really excellent, mature rams and the hunting didn’t disappoint.
With four happy hunters to kick off the season, our 2016 hunts have started off on a great foot. As we head into moose, mountain caribou and mountain goat hunts, conditions are looking excellent. We’ve already seen some outstanding bull moose and trophy class mountain caribou bulls. Of course mature billy mountain goats are also plentiful as usual.
We’re looking forward to continuing a great season here at Kawdy Outfitters! To keep up on the latest updates from camp, be sure to follow us on Instagram (@kawdyoutfitters) or on our Facebook Page. We will continue to post photos as they become available throughout the season.
